Changes a’coming…

As I hinted before, things might change a bit around here. Probably nothing drastic.

However, some initial changes are in order, first among them to update the “About this Blog” and “About Me” stuff, since my spiritual journey has undergone some significant changes since I started this blog. My core faith in God and Jesus and belief in the Holy Spirit remain, but much else has changed, and so I need to reflect those changes in those places (as well as perhaps in some upcoming posts).

About these ads

Deacon Blue is the blogging persona of editor and writer Jeffrey Bouley. The opinions of Jeff himself on this blog, and those expressed as Deacon Blue, in NO WAY should be construed as the opinions of anyone with whom he has worked, currently works, or will work with in the future. They are personal opinions and views, and are sometimes, frankly, expressed in more outrageous terms than I truly feel most days.

  • @Alivada I had to tell my biracial daughter, now 9, yesterday to go to the police if she needs help, but also not to trust them. *sigh* 6 hours ago
  • @FromTheRough Well, haven't trusted them for years but NOW I'm not sure I'd even call them if my house was burglarized. It's that bad for me 7 hours ago
  • And, with that, I'm probably signing off on Ferguson-preaching for at least the night. Tomorrow's a water park visit w kiddo so maybe longer 7 hours ago
  • I honestly feel that I can't trust my government, be it police officers, legislators, governors, mayors/city managers or presidents...at ALL 7 hours ago
  • This country has been taking some dark and scary paths for years now, and I've worried vaguely. But this week, I'm *afraid* of where we are 7 hours ago
