Disclaimer

Deacon Blue is the blogging persona of editor and writer Jeffrey Bouley. The opinions of Jeff himself on this blog, and those expressed as Deacon Blue, should not, in any way, ever be construed as the opinions of anyone with whom he has worked, currently works, or will work with in the future. They are personal opinions and views, and are sometimes, frankly, expressed in more outrageous terms than I truly feel most days. Sometimes I may even play “devil’s advocate” and say something purely to stir things up, though usually not.

As a matter of policy, since I have revealed my true identify around here, I will refrain from blogging about topics that might have conflict with any work in which I am currently and deeply involved. So, for example, because I am heavily involved in healthcare and pharmaceutical writing, I will either avoid those topics or, if I do feel a need to cover them, will do so in a more balanced, journalistic style than most of my blog posts.

Image Usage

Images from this site are culled from many sources, some paid and some from free sites. It may be that I have used a copyrighted image in error or gotten it from a site that led me to believe it was available for public usage/fair usage, or simply that I don’t recall where I first found the image or who it might belong to. I don’t profit from this blog and don’t profit from any images used here. If you are the copyright owner of an image and object to your image being used here, e-mail me at the address noted over in the sidebar at the right and I will remove the image as soon as I read your e-mail. Or, if you simply want to be credited as the copyright holder, let me know how to credit the image, and whether you want me to provide a link to a Web site, blog or other Internet medium along with that credit.

Copyright and Usage Information

All written material should be assumed to be the copyright of the author of that blog post, unless otherwise noted.

I cannot give you permission to repost the work of any author other than myself. In terms of the work by Deacon Blue/Jeffrey Bouley (that would be me), I generally don’t mind if you repost my commentary from here, as long as you give me credit for it being my work and don’t claim it as your own. Though it would be nice to ask my permission first.

The sole exception is that any material related to my novel “Cleansed By Fire” (or any other fiction or poetry) must not be reprinted without my express written permission.
